These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Langera iOS application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Mocco Group ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading the App, creating an account, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
To access most features of Langera you must create an account using a valid email address.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Mocco Group grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial language learning purposes.

Langera may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically begins unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Access to premium features requires an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store. Pricing, billing frequency, and included features are displayed in the App and on the App Store product page.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price increase, and changes will not affect your current billing period.
When you use the speaking practice feature, the App temporarily processes your voice recordings to assess pronunciation. You retain all rights to your voice. By using the feature, you grant us a limited license to transmit your audio to our pronunciation assessment provider (Microsoft Azure) solely to return a score to you. Audio is not stored on our servers.
You are responsible for any content you provide (name, interests, occupation, etc.) and you represent that such content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
You agree not to use the Service to:
All content in the App — including but not limited to vocabulary, audio, lesson content, UI design, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Mocco Group and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Italian vocabulary content, example sentences, and audio may be sourced from licensed third-party datasets. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
The Speak feature requires microphone access to assess your pronunciation in real time. The App will request this permission when you first access the feature. You may revoke microphone access at any time via iOS Settings → Langera → Microphone. Revoking microphone access disables the Speak feature but does not affect other features.
If you enable daily practice reminders, the App will send you one push notification per day at approximately 9:00 AM. You can disable notifications at any time via:
We will not send promotional push notifications without your explicit consent.
The App provides an optional iOS Home Screen widget that displays your daily task completion status, XP, and streak. Widget data is stored locally on your device in a shared container and is not transmitted to our servers.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these providers.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MOCCO GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50 (EUR), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mocco Group, its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account via Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel the subscription separately through the App Store.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms immediately cease.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia (EU), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.
EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence and the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mocco Group regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
